'Peony Painter'. There is a beautiful variety of peony called the 'Shirley Temple', known for its large double white  flowers. The flowers start as a pale pink and gradually fade to a creamy white colour. Where does the pink go?  Paint is sometimes not permanent. I  think the carefully applied pink paint applied by the little artists maybe washes away in the April showers leaving no trace 🌸🖌🎨
