This fairytale commission was created for a 5 year old girl. I was asked to create a fairy painting using pinks and greens, and decided upon this springlike scene.
The two fairies are patiently collecting raindrops as they roll off the leaves, their gossamer wings glinting in the spring sunshine. The fairy laying on the toadstool looks like she is finding the task more than a little boring!
